H Design Group’s animation department now offers 3 dimensional renderings for marketing purposes on all types of floor plans. It’s been proven that properties have a much lower vacancy rate when marketed on-line or with printed brochures utilizing 3 dimensional exhibits vs. the traditional black & white floor plans.  If you’re interested in having customized 3d rendered perspective plans created for marketing/leasing of apartment projects, condominium projects, or even commercial tenant buildings, please contact Brent Stevens or Jamey McFadden of H Design Group at 417-887-6595 for more information.

The announcement of Doug, Julie and Brad Pitt’s financial donation to the O’Reilly Family Event Center on behalf of their parents has allowed the arena project to move from LEED Silver to LEED Gold.  Because of the obvious notoriety of Springfield-native Brad Pitt, H Design Group has been getting many questions from news sources inquiring about the sustainable design aspects of the arena. Such components include alternative transportation features, minimal site disturbance, heat island effect, light pollution reduction, water efficient landscaping, water use reduction, optimal energy performance, enhanced commissioning, construction waste management, recycled/local materials, certified wood court floor, low-emitting materials, thermal comfort design, and rain-water collection. drury-oreilly3A full-length animation of the project can be found at http://www.drury.edu/oreilly/video/

The Ozark’s Dermatology Specialists has officially moved into their new office building located at 3808 S. Greystone Court, Springfield Mo. and is now open for business. An open-house ceremony was hosted in the new facility on October 13, 2009. H Design Group was the architect, Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins was the MEP Engineer, Anderson Engineering was the Civil Engineer, Meridian was the Structural Engineer, Interior Planning Consultants was the interior designer, and Howard Bailey Construction built the 12,652 s.f. building. The exterior of the building has a prairie style appearance with large overhangs and low sloped shingled roof. Exterior materials consist of a natural cultured limestone with a burgundy brick. Large windows allow natural light in all exam rooms and employee offices to promote a better working environment. The building circulation and layout was carefully designed to promote efficient use of the space for both patients and employees.
